Awesome Women in Construction or AWIC is a non-profit association that seeks to provide a supportive community to women that are working in the construction industry.
AWIC help their members and the wider community. They in addition offer professional and personal development to help build confidence to showcase the organisations their members represent.
AWIC Also provides several networking opportunities across South East Queensland.
Their networking events frequent at different times of the day, making it easier for everyone to find an event to come along to. AWIC members represent various trades and businesses across Australia, from small independent businesses to global organisations.

We welcome the opportunity to be involved with an organisation that aligns with our brand story and purpose, as well as supporting causes that are close to our hearts. In the past our Business Manager, Renee has been heavily involved with the Disability Community, and now as a woman working within the construction industry, contributing to AWIC is a way of giving back to our community and the construction industry.

This year’s event will have 2 guest speakers Maree Adshead who is the commissioner for small business QLD, and Suzie Christenson who will speak on ‘Navigating a Never Changing World’
AWIC International Women’s Day event will celebrate the economic, social, political, cultural achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating equality of women in the industry.
